If you’re new to the vaping world, you will more than likely have quite a few questions and believe me that is normal. Vaping is not the same as smoking, and actually that’s why we do it. We have come up with a list of the most frequent questions that we receive. Once you have read this if you still have questions do not hesitate to contact us. We can help you make the transition from smoking to vaping.
1. What Type of E-Cig Should I Get?
Now that you have decided to give vaping a try, one of the first questions you will ask is which one should I get. To be honest there really is not one answer. To get to the answer that you need you must decide what kind of vaping experience that you want.
If you are looking for a hand to mouth experience that is somewhat like smoking then you should try the Joyetech Ego AIO Quick Start Kit. I find that this kit, which is one of the most inexpensive and most emulates smoking.
2. How Much Will This Cost Me?
Yes initially this is more expensive than running to the corner store and buying a pack of smokes. But at the same time within a week or two you will have saved that amount two times over. If you go for the basic kit the Joyetech Ego AIO Starter Kit, you are looking at $29.95 for the kit which includes a 10ml of liquid. This should last you 3 to 5 days with the e-liquid provided. If you smoke a pack a day you are well ahead of the game.
3. Will Vaping Save Me Money?
While it may seem like it costs more upfront, in truth vaping does provide a huge cost savings when compared with regular cigarettes. A pack-a-day smoker can spend anywhere from $4,780 a year to $6,000 a year in Ontario. On average across the country, the cost of smoking regular cigarettes rings up at about $4,750 a year.
If you opt for the Joyetech Ego AIO rechargeable e-cigarette option you can purchase e-liquid at a price of $16.00 per 30ml bottle which will last approximately one week. This would be a savings of $3,918 per year.
4. Will I Have to Replace my Battery?
Yes, yes you will. When? That’s the real question. There’s really no way to tell if a battery is going to last for the long haul when you first buy it. While there are plenty of people who claim their batteries last years, almost everyone I know also has experienced one that died within a few months. Most batteries fall somewhere in between on their shelf life. Most batteries last anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on the usuage.
5. How do I Choose my e-Liquid Strength?
E-liquid strength is measured in milligrams of nicotine that is contained within one milliliter of solution. So a user can estimate what level of eliquid will bring them them satisfaction based on their previous smoking habits. E-liquid is available in varying strengths from 0mg up to 24mg. One of the most important thing that I can convey at this time is that you ensure to get the right milligram of nicotine to start. If you obtain a strength to low you will find yourself defining the term chain vaping. If you obtain a strength to high you may feel unwell. The trick is to get the milligrams of nicotine that you personally need. Based on this we have created the following chart.
6. Are E-Cigs Really A Better Alternative than Cigarettes?
What you can do is ask any person who vapes how they feel. You will get a resounding answer that yes they feel much better than when they smoked. In truth though, much more research still needs to be done. But everyday more and more research is coming out that yes they appear to be a much better alternative to smoking. Here is what I do know that e-liquid that is tested and comes back with 0 ppm of Diacetyl and 0 ppm of Acetyl Propionyl contain no cancer causing carcinogens and are far less harmful than that of regular cigarette with smoke and tar. E-Cigarettes use also eliminates secondhand smoke and is much better for the environment and the people around you.
